    The [Sam'} family is now asking for privacy after the story gained international attention.

    Did this family smell/know something was wrong?

    Weird than one wouldn’t stay with the vehicle, or head back to highway from vehicle. Was the vehicle located by SAR?

    I remember back in September reading about a hunter near Chetwynd getting his tires slashed and then the following day the tire-slasher showing up on a ATV and shooting in the hunters direction. I think it was a disgruntled local by the sounds of the story. It’s not that far from where this guy went missing. Really makes you wonder.
