I live up that way half the year and like others have posted it's not what it used to be.

Have you actually seen any of the deactivation? I was told this would be happening as well but have not noticed it, at least in the general area I am hunting. I had heard that 100 km's of roads were deactivated on the plateau but I still see all the dead end roads into cut blocks being travelled heavily. I will say that the quad ban has helped bigtime and there are finally a few mature animals starting to pop back up in those hard to get to spots. There are moose up there, it's just not as easy of a hunt as it used to be
