I have a pocketboy. Wife bought a medium blade and I bought the coarse and fine. Man bone destroys the fine and medium blades but the coarse made short work of a found dead bull elk when those antlers came off.

I use an 18" Wyoming saw for the heavier work [don't recommend the shorter model] and have a Silky folding and a Gerber T handle for other jobs that they can handle.

I use an 18" Wyoming saw for the heavier work [don't recommend the shorter model] and have a Silky folding and a Gerber T handle for other jobs that they can handle.

I have had mine since I was 16, that's going on 24 years now without a problem with my Wyoming saw. Takes apart nice and fits into the hand carrying case, bone blade as well as wood blade. Saved my bacon more times than I can count. Great saws that pack down nice and can go anywhere, while still being strong enough to handle the job. Well worth the investment.

Well it’s not a folding saw in the sense but I’ve used a Wyoming Saw II for about 35 years and it’s always in my daypack, back pack or truck, it does break down and is somewhat compact, it has a bone blade as well as a wood blade, I’ve owned many compact and folding saws and that one is always the one I grab.
