Creosote stains on canvas

Tried Ron's advice an it worked. Gunk removed. Should have done it on the inside as well. Hope before/after pics will show.

also did some more trial and error.....stopped using the damper and cleaned more regularly the stove pipes.

I used this on my last tent. Worked good for general stains, OK on creosote but will not completly remove it.

Not sure, says it doesnt degrade tent fabric. I used it on my old 10x12 to scrub stains off when I got the tent (bought the tent used). Never saw any adverse affects.
