    Cutting trails.....

Lookin to cut me a trail for later in the season, all my time spent in other areas has me doin it late.

I aint packin a chainsaw up there, or even gas for that matter. I can cut the bigger stuff by hand or hop over it (foot trail), anybody got any experience with electric hedge trimmers or somethin like that? Recommend anything good?

Milwaukee hatchet for the win!!! M18 FUEL™ HATCHET™ 8" Pruning Saw | Milwaukee Tool
These are great for clearing out trails. We have a trail through an old burn, every year we go in and cut out 20 or so windfalls and a bunch new growth etc. Always used chainsaws, loppers, machete but this year my brother brought his Milwaukee hatchet and damn that thing works good.

Ideally lookin for electric, doin the deciduous by hand right now with how grown in it is will take too long, can use hand saw and loppers later up the trail though

The only reason I wish I had gone for M18 instead of the m12 system I bought is there are a lot more tools - including the little chainsaw for the m18.

But that katanaboy is way faster than you would think. It's a nice piece of kit.

A 24" brush ax is my go-to. A friend had the 48", when he got going it looked like the brush was melting away in front of him. Like this one https://www.ebay.ca/itm/224559040565 very thin very sharp.

Milwaukee M18 Sawzall with Milwaukee Pruning blades ,they make them . I really like my BK 9 for wacking stuff down, the thing is a beast but you would not want to leave pointed little stumps all over . I love Silky saws also.

I cut trails all year and electric anything won't do it.
You need a commericial weed wacker with a blade and a chainsaw.
