Sunrise wasn’t 2 hours ago on day 1 and I’ve already spent an hour retracing my steps looking for my bugle tube that must have gotten snagged on a tree branch and pulled out of my pack.
Anyone have a spare bugle tube in Elkford?
Thanks!

might get lucky at Canadian Tire in Fernie if no one on here can help you out
Why are you in my town???? There’s no elk here……
unfortunately I don’t have a spare tube but my wife is headed home from Edmonton….might be able to get her to pick one up.
I can give you one if you come to Kikomun creek prov park tomorrow night. I know it’s a bit far but just thought I’d throw it out there. I have 3 tubes from wapiti river. Shoot me a PM if interested.
If you can't get one and have a plastic bottle, cut out the bottom and let er rip - I did that for a practice one and it sounds surprisingly good..
Find one of those kids' plastic baseball bats, cut the ends off, and it works just as well as any store-bought. Walmart, Zellers, Dollarama, etc.

Thanks for the help from J270wsm and his wife for the new tube. Thanks to everyone else who offered help and advice as well. Got into elk today, hopefully the new tube helps get it done this trip.
I always put a couple of wraps of orange flagging tape around a bugle tube to help find if it gets put down & forgotten or dropped, not every hunting item needs to be camo
Unless you are hunting turkey or waterfowl, I 100% agree. I only have 2 pieces of camo gear now. And with the number of idiots in the woods these days, I’m always wearing some amount of blaze orange.
Good luck with your hunt KBC and the rest of you guys out here in the Koots.
If we’re not supposed to eat animals, how come they’re made out of meat?
