Bottles, I see you mention 12s then 13s for sizes
How was your expereince at VPO?
Here I had to educate the saleshuman that there was a difference between Cdn sizing and US sizing
though I'm finding most stores just use US as default, makes for a run around when asking to try a Cdn10 size
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

They're more popular in Europe. They have really good reviews vs scarpa in the same price range. Hand made in Italy. Lots of popular boots are starting to be outsourced to China. So far 2 trips to the Thompson river. Pretty steep, short walks over lots of rock. Pretty much no break in necessary and my feet are still comfortable after fishing on the rocks for 5ish hours. I use mink oil for waterproofing and so far so good. Only time will tell how durable they are for hunting, but they're pretty light and comfortable.

20yrs is more than impressive. Since these will only be worn a few months of the year, I'm hoping to get some good life out of them.

I didn't know there was a difference in cdn vs usa shoe size.
I went in to vpo already with a few ideas in mind. Friendly staff, so no complaints, but I didn't put them to the test either. I think most use US as standard sizing, but all the boots I tried were European (Aku, Scarpa, Hanwag). I typically wear 13s but the Hanwags were tiny. Would need a 14 for sure, but they don't carry them.

Canada and US have identical sizes... They use the same system. There's US/Can and then Euro sizing. Not sure what you're talking about?
