What rock do you live under?
LOL highest crime rate in BC for a long time, to think hunters aren't impacted is pretty naive
There seems to be a story every year of a hunters loaded rig getting robbed, but in the big crime picture its probably insignificant...........unless you are a hunter
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC
Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC
Pg a few years ago had a dodge truck and a big cargo trailer stolen right out of the hotel parking lot. Then there was a video of a tow truck stealing a fancy truck 8 months ago. They found the empty trailer of the first.
Down town PG I wouldn't leave the vehicle alone ever.
I buy gas and fast food in PG and keep cruising. Watched a guy on a bike check out my truck box while I was in the truck in HomeDepot parking lot.
The challenge of retirement is how to spend time without spending money.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.
Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"
Lol, you guys.
I would heed the advice and stay alert, and clear of leaving your hunting gear unattended, even at hotels, and for sure pubs. Hear about multiple rigs getting stolen every year. Worst is when your heading home, and not only lose your gear, but also your game meat.
I have RCMP friends as well, but never get those stories from them.
Good luck out there, and bag a moose, and enjoy your trip.
How you guys making out?
