The town of Lillooet was underwater for generations from a slide back in the past. Amazing how nature works.

Just got the emergency warning. The Fraser is covered from theChilcotin River to Hope ,boaters and people along the river.

That is an amazing event and will have a lasting effect but it does not look to be the first slide in that area, just the most recent one. Crazy stuff, must have been something to see as the world changes in front of your eyes.
Hope everyone makes it out OK.
Just looked it up on Google maps and it looks to be within a mile upstream of the bridge.
