Not true. They are at the printers now.
Been a challenge to find who has them for the past few issues.
Every Service bc should have them
Gotta have the regs in printed form, they also provide the necessary transport forms/papers. I'm sure they want to do fully digital, but it helps to have the regs handy in camp.
Its much easier to make sure i'm following the regulations with all of the zones, no shooting areas, motor vehicle restrictions etc. if I got the synopsis in book form in my hand and am able to read it wherever I am instead of my cell (which can die, be lost etc.). Not to mention for the computer illiteriate.
But yeah i'm sure they'd love to digitalize it all
It’s easy enough to take pics of the regs and motor vehicle closures that apply to the region/mu that your hunting…..but I also like to keep a paper copy for hunting and one that I keep just because. I think I have every paper copy back to 1996.
Change was in the wind when all the advertising was dropped from the printed regs
Used to be able to lookup local resources while out and about, like supplies, coolers, cutters
Now its all ai
oh the irony
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC
Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC
