    if you are changing to a xbow because of age/medical reason, those are likely to get an exemption to use an xbow even if xbows get restricted in the future...Dr's note?....

    Exactly what Alberta does. Lifetime exemption in my case.

    No medical issues (yet). I was thinking about a new challenge and a few extra days in the field. Also, my last 3 bears and whitetails have all been under 50 yds. I have picked up a CBC .410 and a 60's Henry Golden Boy 22lr for my son, so I think it's my turn next.

    If anyone is looking for a decent deal on an Excalibur crossbow, Canadian Tire is running a sale on the Excalibur Mag340 for I believe the next month or so, $599 instead of $799.

    I had the same model a few years ago and it was a great crossbow.
