So I don't use expandable anymore, and I was just coming back from an unsuccessful whitetail hunt. From a tree stand, I had the arrow with the mechanical second in line in case I needed to "finish" the job ( I wanted to not waste them). We came back early and decided to do a muley hunt, and I never switched that arrow with a fixed one. In the heat of the moment, I never thought I had a mechanical in my quiver. Hence why I used it. But it did open and did some major damage.

I don't use mechanical anymore. I have had some great success with them, but all my fixed broadheads fly like field point, so no need for mechanical.
