    New fixed blade

I’m in the market for a new knife after my main blade was stolen recently. I’d like to support a Canadian company, and would place priority on Made in BC. I’ve been looking at the North Arms Lynx and the Frontiersmen Gear Mountain Series Lynx. Anyone have experience with these blades? If you had to choose which would you go with? Are there other made in BC/Canada blades I should consider?

I’ve owned many custom knives, and you’ll have to search hard (both sides of the border) to beat Bruce’s knives for quality, value, and the ability to customize exactly what you want.

I have one made by Roy. Very happy with it.
It is easier to get forgivness than it is permission.

It has been pointed out to us that the proper number to consider in the event of violent aggression is "911"- if you are of the rabbit people. Others will do better to place their faith in the number "1911".

I’ve got the Lynx from North Arm. Absolutely love it. Holds an edge very very well. They just upgraded their steel again and I might have to pick up a 2nd. On a side note their fillet knives are also top quality. Great local company with great customer service. I got mine with the orange handle which has helped me from losing it a few times in the dark.
