Hi,
I have been buying raw dog food from a great old lady in Mission for close to a decade. Unfortunetly she informed me this am that she will be closing down her business.
Does anybody have a hook up they use in the lower mainland?

Have been feeding our dogs Raw for over 20 years, well before it became fashionable.
Can't be bothered with making it ourselves anymore so generally buy from the feed Store in Agassiz. Decent selection and prices, good guy to deal with.
A few years back our first dog had some health problems that required us to be careful about protein levels. Emailed one of the above named who we had used for a number of years to ask what the protein levels were in their food, explaining that we needed that info. They never responded. Mentioned that to another supplier, his response was they didn't respond with the info because they didn't know what was in their product. He also went to their facility to check it out, found it to be filthy and quickly dropped their line.

Hey guys, reviving this thread to ask a few questions. My 5 y/o Griffon recently started to turn up her nose at her kibble which she usually gobbles up. I changed her food and for a couple of weeks she gobbled that up and then sort of started only grazing on it. I took her to the vet and they did a blood test, they said her protein levels were low and could I bring in a urine sample. I did that and there was no protein in her urine. Now they want to do an ultra sound at a cost of $1000. I'm waiting for an appointment at this time. I wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this. I live in Richmond at the moment and am wondering about any sources for raw meat dog food or raw meat mixed with some digestible fruits and veggies and maybe some foods that contain carnitine and taurine which help with enlarged heart syndrome in dogs. My healthy 5 y/o german shepherd died of this so it also has me concerned. Any thoughts and help would be appreciated
