    Caffeine in the woods

Whatís your favourite way to caffeinate when youíre out and about?

I actually quit drinking coffee for a couple of years because I couldnít handle the nuisance of making a coffee in the bush before I could do anything. I like to just get up and go, but I would get a headache pretty quickly without it. Anyways, Iíve been back on it for a couple months now and Iím probably not going back.

I always have my jetboil with me and my favourite is to bring along the aeropress go with a fellow prismo. 20 grams of coffee, 50 grams of water for the shot and add another 200-250 ml of water for a hillbilly Americano.

Im thinking some caffeine pills or something would be good for those days when you want to get up and assault something before first light.

I like Starbucks Via coffee, or instant coffee.
I'm not a coffee conosseur, I just need it so my head doesn't explode, so I'm not particular about it.
    Especially in the bush.

    Jet boil and instant.

Starbucks is definitely the best instant option by far. Expensive, but worth every penny, or nickel I guess.

this is a little unorthodox, but if you can find a caffeine heavy pre-workout you don't need to go through the hassle of heating water (though it's really not much different from a caffeine pill).

If I'm going light it's Via stuff or similar from Starbucks. Easy, right dose.

If I have my druthers it's real coffee.

Starbucks Via if it’s light weight. Stove top espresso otherwise. The darker the better.

LMAO, I have some coffee beans in my jacket to chew on in emergencies. Whoever is on their feet first in the morning in camp gets water boiling for instant coffee.

Grinds coffee pouches, just like Skoal but no nicotine.
