Can anyone recommend a great taxidermist for bird mounts in the lower mainland?
Cheers

Frank Gilbert Fur and Feathers in Surrey. You won't be dissapointed. He's done 20 mounts for me. I won't go anywhere else.
doesnt matter what kind of bullet it is, as long as it weighs 180 grains its DEADLY, even on ass shots....Todbartell-2009
another vote for Frank Gilbert from me.
I've had two hawks one owl and a hooded merganser all mounted by the same person. Glen Browning of Birds Only Taxidermy. There are pictures of my redtail and my barred owl with squirrel on his website. He does awesome work. Here is his site http://www.birdtaxidermist.com/index.shtml
Here is a pic of the hooded merganser he just did for me. That reminds me I have to get him to ship it to me as I'm not going to be able to get down there to pick it up. Whatever you do it is a good idea to have it in a glass case. The redtail is in a case and dust is not a problem but that particular type of case is no longer available so I'm now looking for something similar for my other mounts.
Hope this is helpfull. Jim
I almost forgot I had a bobcat mounted by Frank Gilbert and it turned out great. Jim
