    October Rooster



    Went out with my lab for pheasants yesterday. Hunted 6 fields with no luck. Then my wife called to see where I was and when I was coming home (lol). The seventh field was the charm. My dog flushed this nice rooster. He made a first class retrieve under some tough conditions. Turned out to be a great afternoon as I shot a nice wood duck drake as well.
