Went out for the first time this duck season and even though it was a lousey day for duck hunting (sunny and clear) I managed to pop a couple of mallards.Very few ducks where fooled by the decoys and i dident see any geese at all.

There are more birds showing the last week but I agree, down from the last few years for this time of year. The wind picked up about 10am today and we actually had good shooting until noon. It may have also been the walkers and joggers started to chase up the birds.
Good pic, I thought I had lost my camera today but found it in my lunch bag (I usually keep it in my upper side pocket). Perfect day for pics too!
