Had stuffed Quail and Acorn Squish night before last.

    Yesterday a special treat!
A Buddy dropped off a package of elk striploins and a package of elk sirloins.
Striploins with corn on the cob and air-fried wee taters was the obvious choice!

    Tender & Juicy!!

    YUM!

Wow that looks good, what is your normal marinade recipe for game steaks?

I pack montreal steak spice in a tupperware in truck and a little bit in my pack when backpack hunting.

Whenever im scouting and staying out of the truck I bring Deer steaks and put montreal steak spice on em, love doing that. Think i'll do it this weekend. One of the best meals I ever had, was tired and worn out from hiking days on end, got a grouse had montreal steak spice, oil and some onions

BarBee'd local farm sourced pork ribs, fettuccine alfredo with a sprinkle of three cheese on top, a mix of garlic scapes and spare gooses - all washed down with a rather good Merlot:

Had a hankering for something kind of light due to the heat.
    Seafood of course...

    So...
    Magnum Prawns on the BarBee:

Accompanied by Magnum Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms and a ripe Avo.

    Hit the spot quite nicely!

    Cheers

Bear salami spaghetti, all fresh ingredients made the sauce from sauteed onions and garlic and crushed cherry/grape tomatoes. Finished with fresh grated parm and parsley simple but delicious
