    Blockade Protocol

    Blockade Protocols

Any hunters who encounter a blockade are advised to follow these steps:

    1. Stay calm, be safe and do not do anything aggressive or try to “run” the blockade.

If you are safely able to do so:

    2. Ask: Are you preventing me from using the road? Why are you preventing me? Who are you and who do you represent?

    3. Photograph and video the location and interaction, if it can be done safely. Any vehicle, structure, or gate blocking the road should be photographed.

    4. Take notes of the interaction directly after it is over. Note the location, the individuals (with numbers, descriptions or identities, if known, license plates etc), and the content of the conversation. Also note any impacts of being prevented from accessing the area and the number of people affected.

    5. On a map, mark the location of the blockade and the location of the activities prevented from being undertaken.

    6. Provide copies of documents which describe legal rights being interfered with such as permits, grants, licences, contracts, including copies of documents.

    7. Contact the BC Wildlife Federation Office @ 1-888-881-2293, file a complaint with the RCMP and Conservation Officer Service at your earliest convenience.

    Re: Blockade Protocol

This has been the protocol for a while and no blockade was ever removed by the authorities.
Why should we do the same thing over again and expect different results?
    1. Human over population
    2. Government burden and overreach

How many complaints were filed last year and did the RCMP or COs act on any of these complaints?

Yeah. Custer was turned into an archery target at the young age of 36.
Cook was beaten and eaten at 50.
    Them's pretty grim lessons.
