Hey Fellas/gals !
I haven't had time to wipe properly let alone spend time on here for quite a while I think I took off and landed over 50 times last year and not too far off this year, bin kinda busy. ANYWAY, heard my name was mentioned this week so I thought I'd drop a couple pics since I have a spare 6.5 minutes !! lol
Was lucky and shot these few bucks the last couple seasons( and a bunch of sheep, moose, etc etc ). Same ol same ol, LOTS of clue finding, sweat, relentless NEVER EVER quit pursuit.
First one was last fall, found him in one of my favorite holes, blew him out with a doe on a rainy 1pm moment in deep dark timber. Sat and waited 45 min, then went forward as he split off from his doe. I knew he hadn't seen me and never knew what the spook was about so I gave him time to mellow out and hopefully double back to an open shelf to find his doe.... it worked, bang flop !! He was around 145".
Then this fall I was lucky early Nov and rattled up a great buck and thumped him !!
For the curious, he was low 140's.
Just a few days ago I was lucky to harvest this OLD FART of a buck !! By far my best moment out there lately as he was just an ancient old gnarly stunted dog !!!
His bottom bases went over 8" and the girth between the 2nd and 3rd points was over 6" !! WOAH !! lol Pretty neat !
This guys story was a familiar one with my style hunting them. I sat on 2 does and a decent fork in very high, dark, big fir timber. Think around 1 ish afternoon. The does started fighting which I thought was odd as the fork wasn't anything special...then I clue'd in and got excited!! Forky went left into bush and came back out 50 yrds higher.... but his body grew to twice the size? Quick glimpse of baseball bat antler bases, grunt , POW...... 2015 close !
Anyway, that's about it for now, probably have about 75 new stories I could pump out here and videos but just NO TIME ! Yep, its true, bin developing something new to help people in the field with no internet connection. Never been done before, lots of 'learning as you go' shit for a bush boy like me. It isn't for everyone but apparently it is for many as we have people from all over the world including frikkin Hong Kong grabbing it up. It keeps getting better and better as we learn and iron out wrinkles. Some of our work is actually changing some sheep regulations to help people in our synopsis !
My motivation was my disgust with entertainment hunting, blow ass'ed product pushing that helps no one and ego maniacs who think a dead animal part is going to make them longer or taller !! Turned away all and any kind of sponsorship so we answer to no one and tell all the truths about everything.
Anyway, hope all are living the dream, racking up crazy cool experiences in the woods and having FUN !!!
