proof of insurance

I was in the store today getting my Fraser Valley Special Area license which requires insurance. They knew I was a member of Poco and through PCDHFC we have BCWF's insurance. But the clerk at the store told me I also needed to carry proof of insurance if stopped by a CO and it wasn't enough that I had the FVSA license.

When I visited the BCWF website there is a link to "download proof of insurance". However, once you are logged in, it doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Q. Can I carry my Poco membership card (which states a insurance policy at the back of it) as proof?
Q. Or do I need to find this proof of insurance or some other proof?

I might be wrong, but I think insurance through BCWF is optional, even for clubs! So you might be a BCWF member but not have their insurance.
Call your club to confirm!

Thanks someone did call me back with an answer. We don't have the BCWF -> Capri insurance. Poco has different insurance. I guess that's a question for my club then.
