Your not alone it seems if pix are involved in the post it gives you a blank page when you try to edit you are not 'Misfiring' on that one LMAO

been struggling with editing posts on HBC for years now.

The auto correct has probably nothing to do with HBC. It's Internet Explorer or whatever browser you are using. The automatic spell check and grammar check. You can turn that off.

I had this problem last year with the thread about my son's spring bear.
It drove me nuts until I figured it out.
For threads with pictures:
Open the thread
Left click at the top left corner and drag all the way to the bottom of the post highlighting the text and pictures as you go.
Right click and copy.
Open Edit Post.
Right click and paste.
Edit away.
Don't forget to save when done.
