The wife got me a book called "End of the Line" for my birthday. It's about the commercial over fishing of the oceans around the world. Very eye opening I highly recommend it to those interested in the ocean. It doesn't really get into sport fishing except for some stat's from the South East coast of the USA mainly Florida where it is indicated that sport fishing there has an impact on fish stocks. The author is not a scientist but travels all over the world talking to fisherman, scientists, politicians, etc. and guess who was first aware of problems arising and never listened to. The small inshore fisherman. Interesting read.
