At least that's what I thought till I went out to Ladner and sat in the marsh while I watched the guy beside me lure ducks in and shoot!!!
he seemed to have a baby mojo or some wing spinner...
anyway I'm sold!
I'm one week into this addiction and the guys I've gone with typically hang in the marsh and shoot at the ducks that fly low enough before they are spotted....
id really like to kick it up!
im sold on blinds and camo cause they clearly see me and fly the other direction. I'm in the process of building a guille suit.
id like to drive down to cabelas and get some deeks, but damn its a hard topic to get my head around.
can I please get some advice on the spread I should get.
I live in Richmond so my two main hunting areas will be the Ladner duke at the end of 64th that looks out to poiint roberts and the dyke across from Westham island.
id love to know what kind of set up I can use there as there is water but I'm afraid if I shoot over water I won't be able to retrieve...
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but in pretty lost.
One more thing, if there is anyone that wouldn't mind a tag along, id love to Learn from you! I have a couple restaurants so my schedule is flexible and of course the boose and eats are on me!
