I am going to add, it looks like a 12 ft camper with slides, AND a boat rack, generator, and a few bikes hanging of the back. Lol. What a load!!!
My youngest like to complain when we hike any good distance, my response is “ buddy, one day you will be an old, old man and you will WISH you could be hiking in the bush so stop complaining and keep hiking while your legs and heart will do it, one day you’ll miss this”

^^^^^ looks all snuggled in. I’ve done 1/4’s of moose on a tarp, was just enough crust on the snow that just when it got up on the crust it collapsed. Even on on the level it was still up hill.

First fly-in sheep hunt had it all . . . unsuccessful air drop, high heat that is the birthplace of chaffing (did I hear Gold Bond!), more bugs than most urban folks would care to see in a lifetime, out of comfort river crossings, fires, smoke . . . Shortly after drop off there was a quarantine placed on travel into the backcountry so we had total solitude, saw sheep and more sheep and surfaced 15 days later with packs loaded like we got lucky at a yard sale!
