Kinda the same for me since 6, was only a 1/2 mile to school but 3 to 5 miles home. Homework and lunchboxs were often casualties of exploration.

Meanwhile in PG... Rarely more than 2 hrs to home, drag to the truck, gut, put whole in the truck, skin and 1/4 on the shop hoist.
