He gets abusing texts from family like this

"Dad says since u never seen any big game, moose are the big ugly ones, elk have big antlers and bears are the furry things"

I have been on numerous deer hunts, a goat hunt, and a sheep trek. And not once on any hunt have I ever seen a deer I was legally allowed to shoot. They say I'm cursed. Though I shoot enough birds that I probably get more meat then most deer hunters during a season.

My girlfriend has shot 2 deer and a moose so to say she's way luckier then me I figured my bad luck and her good luck would cancel and I'd have a chance.

So when I rounded a corner after 3 days of many hrs I finally spotted something with antlers I couldn't believe it.

And I laughed but I shot it closer then some ducks I've shot. About 35 yards

I like to consider him a 2x1 hahahahaha

It's almost duck opener only 5 sleeps and a man can't be chasing deer around. Priorities.

Nice work!

I went on my first two deer hunts this weekend only seen two legal boys, still tonnes of fun though.

Hoping to have my first in the freezer before the rut kicks in.

Congrats on your first 'little' big game animal. Tasty, tasty treats right there. You could probably do a Buckgooducken with it. You know, a duck, inside a goose, inside a deer. Seriously though, good for you.
