I have never hunted ducks on VI but went out every year when I lived in Ontario for black and mallards then late season divers. Just wondering about the Comox area opportunities to hunt. I do have a boat and was over near Tree Island and north end of Denman the other day, seems a lot of birds flying around. Would this be an area to set up. Kinda of need a primer on duck hunting here on the coast and what hunters target. Perhaps a thread someone could recommend to get me started... Many thanks
