where to deer hunt around PG

Hey guys I'm headed to PG on a job for a week last minute thing.I'm bringing my gun I'm looking to harvest a meat buck nothing fancy.Not sure what PG has more of WT or Mulie. If someone could point me in a direction around PG that I might run into deer any info would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly there is not much of a deer pop around PG- I'd be looking more south towards Quesnel or west towards Vanderhoof.

I'm passing through Quesnel on my way up.I won't have much time to hunt last few hrs of each day it pains me to road hunt but that's all I can do hopefully slide a walk in if I scout an area quick enough.

Good ol' Engen. Has anyone ever eaten at the pub there? I have driven by it many many times but never actually stopped there.

Vanderhoof is only about an hour away from PG so you should be able to get some time in there.

Thx guys! I have a spot close to town been out today seen two moose about 2km away I closed the gap while walking i got within 100m called one out but i lost light just seen an ass end go behind a xmas tree I'm sure it was a cow and calf will head back in morning see if I can find them in same spot.I'm after a bull ,I will not drop a calf.
