Looking like I might be heading that way by the end of the month , anyone been hunting that area? I know its any buck so there's probably alot of pressure, Just curious if anyone's had any recent success !

very busy area, but if you get off the roads and head deeper into the bush you will rarely find another person. Ive taken a mule deer there 4 years in a row, but no giant bucks.

They're in there, saw 2 bucks on the weekend, then a young friend woke from a noon kip to three bucks in the distance. Cut and wrapped yesterday!

I took one with a bow a couple weeks ago. I got super lucky though, and it was tough finding anything. Even "getting off the road" didn't help me much lol. I have several friends who go every year and seem to get their deer so they must be in there. Good Luck!

Do not go to Clearwater unless you just like hiking:

Just took a little two point in that area first day of the hunt, after that no buck sightings and only several doe sightings. (1st buck by the way!). As far as hunter pressure goes only saw a few in 4 days but that was also mid week.
