Strange buck rack....

I bought a shotgun barrel off a guy in Michigan and he sent me a photo of a buck he shot with a strange rack that I thought you guys would find interesting. He said he didn't see the short spike in the forehead before he shot.

Very unusual non-typical antler. It could have been caused by an injury to the antler and skull plate in a fight with another buck or in an accident when he was younger or still in velvet. Interesting, thanks for sharing.

Ive seen pics like that before with a big spike out the middle, they called it the unicorn buck! I wonder if that spike falls off every year and grows bigger???
