I had some free time on my hands today so I've decided to go get me my first buck. Not wanting to take any chances I headed straight for the famous newb hunting spot...it took me some time before I found it...but.....it was empty. I know I had the right spot because of the stump, but not one deer. I stood there for half an hour yelling and honking the horn, nothing. I'm beging to suspect that you guys are pulling my leg. If the deer was truly there he would have heard me and come out. Also if he was tied to the stump then where the hell is the rope. Whoever is responsible for this prank better get back there fast and tie another one so others don't have to go through this. Cheers

I get all the good tips from my brother. He sees/kills a lot of deer. So far 6 this year and two in the same shot. Up until a week ago, he was seeing a lot just south of Princeton. Now there seems to be a lot of WT roaming around Osoyos. Any paved road around Grand Forks or Cranbrook seems good too. The last one he got really bent up his bumper though. All part of being a long haul trucker. Too bad you can't take road kill. One was a perfect head shot.
