Here's my trophy antelope I shot opening morning (yesterday). My dad and I drove to the area the day before season to scout it out. I was a bit nervous as we had never hunted the area before but I had been there for non-hunting related trips. It turned out to be a good decision to hunt there as we saw 22 antelope between 3 pm and dark of the first day, and then somewhere between 40 and 50 on opening morning by 10:00. I looked over several bucks before deciding to kill this one. He was in a bachelor group with 4 or 5 other smaller bucks. It was about a 175 yard shot with my 6.5x55 shooting a 140 grain Nosler Partition. There are definitely bigger antelope out there, but I was happy to take this particular one. Another one off my bucket list!!!

Here are some pics through the spotting scope of other antelope.

Here is a giant bull elk bedded down in the prairie. I wasn't anywhere I could use the spotting scope to get a clearer picture so I had to freehand it with my iPhone. I'm certain his rack would fill the box of a pickup. He carried his mass to the tip of each point.
