Well it is finally time to head for Rivers with my brother and friends look for a big coastal Grizzly. Got the boat ready and almost all of the gear together. Thanks for all of the help and advise from HBC members. Hope for a big mature Boar some Blacktails and hopefully catch some fish too. This is the most expensive hunt I have ever gone on considering all of the equipment boats etc. we bought to go. Can't believe the wife let me get away with it, going to have to keep her. We will be taking the predator calls as well to see if we can find a wolf. I will be happy to post any pics of success and just say that there is on place like home we live in a great province for hunting and need to be thankful for what we have. Now where did I put the ammo?

Thanks for the best wishes. We are going to have fun no matter what. Adversity makes the success that much sweeter.

Well you should never eat chicken wings from Gas stations....got food poisoning what a way to start a hunt. anyway in Parksville picking up the boat in the morning and testing it out and then across to Rivers Inlet.

If he's out there, he was very unlucky, and likely not safe.

Hopefully it was an enjoyable trip anyways, even if you didn't tag out.

Did you get any deer up in the charolets? http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?97458-new-floating-man-cave

The boat work out well?

Those late January / early February Grizzly draws can be very exciting.. Nothing beats the fun of hunting them in their bedrooms.. :-D

Strangely enough, he hasn't posted since a couple days after this trip was supposed to start! Yikes....
