Earlier this year I had to head to Houston for a work trade show, I figured while I was down there I would try to get a hog hunt in. So after the trade show I drove up to Centerville and started my hog hunt, as soon as I got up they put me in a blind. After three hours of sitting in a blind during a massive thunder storm I asked the guide if I could do a walking/hike hunt the next day, he said sure but I had to sign a waiver in case I was attacked by a hog or snake. I signed it and the next day we were off and had our first meat hog by 8:30am. We brought the hog back to camp and went back out for a hog with cutters. After spooking a few groups of small hogs I hear a deep grunt from a big pile of deadfall, not 30 seconds after hearing the hog he is running at me full speed. I line up a shoot him right behind the ear and he hits the dirt about 15 feet from me. This boar was 215lbs and had 2-1/2” tusks.

I got the skull in the mail today and was happy with the end result.

I don't believe it's painted I would think it's the same process Cobra Imaging does. Not sure exactly what it's called. Water transfer printing I think?

What a great hunt you went on and that skull is just awesome. Such a great idea.
So did you see any snakes?

There were a lot of snakes, we saw probably saw 100 snakes in the two days. We saw diamond backs, Texas Coral snakes and Western Cottonmouths. I`m not a big fan of snakes but it was pretty cool to see.
