I'm new to the site and was just wondering if some of you hunters out there could give me directions even a map if possible to your best spots?

Certainly!:-D  I can direct you to one of my best spots for fat grain fed mallards. Get yourself to the Ruskin Dam on the east side with a canoe or punt. Bring along a camo covering for your craft. Make your way to the bay north of Hairsine Creek where there are (were) boom sticks holding back driftwood and old logs. Tie your craft to the middle of the boom stick line, cover up, and have fun blasting the 250-500 mallards that come in to roost on the boom sticks, wood logs, and debris every day. Unless you're the world's worst shooter and run out of shells, you should have your limit in a few minutes.......Oh wait!
That area has been closed to hunting for about 25-30 years.
