Hunting in the Stuart/ Pinchi lake Area

I am planning to stay a cabin in the Stuart and Pinchi lake region for the first 2 weeks of Oct. I am not hunting a specific species as I want to get out and explore the area for grouse hunting and fishing. I have heard that the Moose pop is down and I did get a healthy LEH Elk cow in the area last January .

Can any local to the area share recent news on the wild game and opportunities that might be available this area. Not looking of honey holes as such.....just good intel.
