Does anyone have any information on the water levels in rivers in the Peace Region this year? (i.e. Beatton, Pine, Murray)

We just drove over the Beatton 30 minutes ago on the way to Cecil Lake. The water level is very low, but pretty typical for this time of year.

Does any one know if the water levels in the Beatton River are sufficiently high enough to paddle a canoe down the river right now?

Never paddled the Beatton, but I have the Pine, which is very shallow in spots and you have to portage for short jaunts...

The link above is the water levels...

Do you think a canoe could make it down?

No idea, never been down it in a boat, but there are people on the internet that have, google is your friend here...

Fishing
Visitors to the area can best access the park by paddling down the Peace or Beatton Rivers. Anyone fishing or angling in British Columbia must have an appropriate licence. (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/fishreg.html)
