Thats a cool lake!
it always blows me away when you hike up to a lake like that,, look into it and see fish.. lol

Thats a cool lake!
it always blows me away when you hike up to a lake like that,, look into it and see fish.. lol
Just one of the many jewels in the Monashee mountains, but definitely no fish...I looked HARD....:-D

The picture of the lake took me back 25 years to a summer of geological mapping in the Monashees. Coulda sworn I had been there.

If you had a good enough scope you could probably see Boston Bar in the distance.
And behind you a fair would be the Coquihalla.

Twin lakes, at the north end of the Pinnacles, if that helps.
First time I hiked in was 93 and it's really nice to see that not much has changed, save for the access to the trail head.

Ah, I was well north of there, near Gordon Horne for a summer. Looks pretty much the same though.
