Rest stop south of Prince George

Where is a good place to stop for a 6-7 hour rest on the south side of PG. Camper and pup tent off the hwy for a few quiet hours of sleep?

By the river in Quesnel.

Turn right just after Dunkley Lumber Mill (Strathnaver). Naver Creek FSR, lots of little cutblocks and landing 10mins off the highway to get some peaceful shut eye. 20min north of Quesnel.

Hush Lake, just north of the Cottonwood River Bridge.

There is no overnight camping allowed at Hush Lake. At least that's what the sign says. Don't think anyone enforces it.

That's why it's such an nice overnight "rest" stop. :-D. Only a couple hundred yards off the hi-way but still very quiet. It's nice to hear laughing loons instead of drunken goons.
