Fishing report pink fishing vedder mouth

slooow fishing lots of boats lots of fisherman. More of each than fish . Average take per 2 fishers 1 to 2 fish .

We put 5 in the boat yesterday and 5 more today. 2 guys. Tossed a couple back (males) took the rest home. Fished for about 3-4 hours both days.

At the mouth the Vedder I have had 15-20 fish days. I anchor right on the "Mud Line"(very visible line where the 2 rivers meet). Cast a pink spoon down stream, let it flutter in the current and reel as slow as possible.

Was out near there today, all told my pops and I had 30+ fish on in 2.5 hours. A couple of times the shallow water alarm was sounding on the finder because there were so many fish under the boat. Threw back a dozen or so, kept our limit and the rest spat the hook once they got near the boat. We were jigging with a pink worm.

I was at the mouth of the Squamish for a couple hours yesterday. First time in a long time we didn't catch anything. There were a few jumpers that looked a healthy silver but mostly we just saw zombies.

That technique is deadly at the mouth. We use grub tails and just drop them off the side of the boat on a jig head.
