Upper Muskwa Fire

Anyone know details of a fire rumored to have burned along the Muskwa above Gator Chute?
As in how much ground was burned and when did it happen?

To clarify.
I am planning a trip back to that area in a week or so.
Heard there was a fire this spring or late last fall. If it's scorched I want to plan somewhere different than last trip.

dont know much about the muskwa fire but i hunted Smith river up off the liard river area back in the early 90's after a big azz fire went thru there the yr before and it was a wasted hunt.

I just returned from the Muskwa last week. there is a fresh burn just above the gator chute for about 4 pr 5 km upstream and into the base of the mountains on the North side.
