Still a nice young buck that Jelly is going to think is starving. Jelly will also say he got hit by a transport truck that left him with half a body. :)

While Jelly didn't think the poached Okanagan city buck was a legit 230+ buck, he'll claim this one is. :) :)

Wow! Please show us more of this buck, he is certainly a magnificent specimen. If you were to harvest something like this it might be a good idea to save/harvest some genetic material with specifics and put it in a DNA bank for safekeeping... Any one know of anything like that happening?

From what I've learned about bucks, I find they grow more and more over the years AFTER they've been shot.

He's got junk.
And I LOVE junk.
So a special thanks for posting this handsome young fella up.
I say young but his burls seem to indicate otherwise despite his overall appearance leaning the other way.

If he's a town deer ( judging by the cut grass in the bottom frame he is ) hopefully he grows old and gray and everyone in the community gets to enjoy him and watch him blossom in the yrs to come.
He could be an absolute stud in the future.

I just wish/pray that some douche(s) bag do not give into temptation and try and poach him.

Great pic, thanks for posting him up for all to enjoy.

Sawmill... SPARWOOD
I know of several locals who have bought bows to get him, hopefully he stays close to home... And yes. it is so nice to watch him daily as he looks for food and lays in the backyard so we can watch thru the back windows.. No need to kill him, just nice to watch with his 2 point buddies not far away!!! No train wreck on his ass, just the way he is laying (sorry Jel)

He's got a few more inches still in this photo. Some of those Sparwood folk just love feeding deer. Used to watch this lady put out a bowl of compost on her front step for the deer every day when I worked there.
