90' water off Texada just caught a "Cabezon". I had to look it up. Never saw a fish like it. Apparently, referred to as the mother in law fish given ugliness factor. It was about 2' long and weighing about 8-10 lbs I am guessing. Just cleaned it. Fillets look gorgeous but have a bit of a very slight blue tinge. Is this normal? I hear they are good table fare.... Many thanks

The Blue Fillets are delicious. Sadly, we're no longer allowed to spear them in BC water, so I haven't had any in a while.
