Anyone use these? I bought a used pair from a guy on another site, and unknown to me, because I didn't ask for a pic, when I got them I found that the guy smeared the bottom 12" of them in bathroom silicon trying to waterproof them :evil:.

I ordered a new pair.....and I bought seam sealer to seal the seams. Poking around on the net, looking for waterpfoofers, I found this guys home-made method of waterproofing nylon;

I have them and love them, they are only good for stream crossings ONLY!
Big Bore's are a little shit kicked, and have worn a hole in his, mine are still waterproof...
IMO, a must for hunting the north part of the Province!!!

Did you seam seal yours or treat the nylon to *improve* on durability?

No, they don't bead like they used to, I can see a waterproofing treatment in a hunt or two..
But no leaky as of yet..
