Woke my oldest two boys up at 5 am this morning and we went looking for an archery mulie. After hiking for a while, we were fortunate enough to bump into this little guy. I put a quick stalk on him and one arrow at 53 yards did the trick. After 20 min the boys could wait no longer and we picked up the short blood trail. While certainly the smallest mulie I've shot in over 20 years, having the boys there makes him one of my most memorable trophies (and he takes up much less wall space).

Trophies are often measured by the memories they make. Looks like you've got a real trophy here. Congratulations!!

Awesome stuff!!! Thanks for sharing!

I have a bighorn, goat, Stone's sheep, elk, Alberta mulie, etc, etc hunts planned this year. Still one of the hunts I'm looking forward to the most is to try and get a Whitetail with my 4.5 year old in the blind with me. Super excited to see how that works out!

Awesome! I hope to get the same chance next weekend. And trust me, I will be elated to get a spike.

Nice to see that the kid's PS3/X-Box or whatever wasn't involved in this one. Just plain old hunting with dad!

When I see this, it makes me think about how you don't see kids outside anymore. I am so glad some of you are teaching great values to your young ones. Way to go, dad!
