Hello all.

May 11th
Day trip up to Princeton area produced my first ever Black Bear. Saw him coming up the road, about 300 yards away, stopped the truck and glassed him as he began to descend down the slope towards the creek. Quickly grabbed our gear and put the stock onto him. About 15 minutes later, we had a bear on the ground. Two hours later, we finally managed to get him out of the ravine that we shot him in. He measured just another 6 feet and was sure tasty! :-D

September 2nd
Today we took a day trip up to Princeton to see if we could fill a tag on a Mulie buck for the Youth season. Ended up seeing 1 Snowshoe Hare, 6 Grouse, 1 Mulie Doe and 2 Mulie Bucks. Sadly, the only two bucks we saw were in Manning Park. Such a tease! :lol:
