Spirit and I finally got our fix. We needed this day. And I had a shot at a fourth but dog is working better than the gunner.

Which region is this? I think I will be looking for some grouse sometime this season.

Sounds like it! This is my first season and I live in Langley, so I'll be starting in the surrounding regions. 2-2, 2-19... maybe as far out as Merritt or Boston bar. Mostly I am looking for a buck, but I'll be trying to keep a 10-22 handy incase I spot a grouse. Those things look so dumb and delicious.
