Hey South Island, I will be in there at that time as well. It's. bin 2-3 years since I've hunted in there, hope it doesn't have the wolf plague like every where else. You should do ok with filling a tag or two. Good chance of running into a G bear also so keep your lookers peeled

Its been hit bad with wolves, but there are still moose in there if you know where to look.

Fire me a PM and Ill try and help you out. I might even get a chance to swing up and meet you to show you some spots.

And better than a good chance of seeing a G bear...definitely keep a look out, seen a few in there this spring.

Bills lake south of Tacheeda Lake is awesome moose country. Firth lake is good especially if you go in with a 14 ft boat. You will require a good 4x4 or atv for all these spots. You could float the parsnip, but that is very popular now since the area has grown up so much. north of Tacheeda is good too, find a swamp off the hambone rd and call away. Give me a shout if you need more ideas. Moosin

Hambone road looked like a dog kennel last winter. Did not see moose in there.
